A happy new year?

Hello folks! Happy New Year. 🙂

In a serendipitous encounter with Robert, we have decided to come up with a monthly series consisting of alternating take on the protagonist of our story. Thus the story keeps on progressing, making it all the more interesting since each one has to take off from where the other left previously.

The first part was written by Rob, Thanks for the Christmas Card. And this is the second part. Hopefully we will come up with something good.

Cheers!

“Stupid people!”

He exclaimed, sipping his coffee. He was in a theater watching a new release. Ever since she had left him, Continue reading “A happy new year?”

A chance encounter…

Do you remember the initial encounters you had with her/him? Did it give you goosebumps? Was there a “friend”? There’s always a friend.

This is a small part of my slightly bigger repertoire.

“Fuck!”

I locked my room and hurried out of the block. I had just woken up. It was 9.15 by my watch and I was 15 minutes late for the class of Prof. A.K. Jain. Already short of attendance and bordering on the precipice of attendance retention, I knew I had to make it to the class. Continue reading “A chance encounter…”

Neuschwanstein Castle: A Mad man’s fantasy?

Find the association: Scrooge McDuck and Opera

Any luck?

Let me help you. All of you must have watched Walt Disney cartoons in your childhood (and some like me, even till now). Everyone must have noticed the beautiful castle which appears at the starting of the production against the bluish-purple background, right? Or perhaps the once-little-princesses might remember the beautiful castle of Sleeping Beauty? The inspiration for that castle is the famed Neuschwanstein Castle actually built by Ludwig II of Bavaria (Germany). Continue reading “Neuschwanstein Castle: A Mad man’s fantasy?”

Blogging 201, Branding & Growth

Day Four: Give ‘Em What They Want

Namaste 🙂

As per today’s assignment, I did a basic stat analysis of my blog.

Here are my revelations:

  1. I have been a slow starter in blogging with best views ever at 87. I don’t mind that. I started walking and talking much later than normal children. Heck my parents were worried to the core about me till then. 😀 And I turned out fine. 🙂
  2. Most viewed post is https://pranjalsrivastavawordpresscom.wordpress.com/2015/10/25/trip-to-dhauladhars-kasol-and-beyond/. Because I used Facebook & Quora to promote it.
  3. The like/view ratio is best (almost 100%) for https://pranjalsrivastavawordpresscom.wordpress.com/2015/12/09/427/. Because the viewers themselves were bloggers. So you know, blogging etiquette.
  4. My favorite, and oldest post https://pranjalsrivastavawordpresscom.wordpress.com/2015/10/12/valentine-week-phobia/ wasn’t viewed much as earlier my blog wasn’t easily navigable.

And then this happens

A short story for Miniature Writing Challenge #20

Hello folks!

This is my first attempt at a blogging challenge. This challenge entails writing a short story with the prompt “She ran hastily down the rainy street…”. So here it goes.

She ran hastily down the rainy street, trying to call him. It had been an hour since she had turned down his proposal. All kinds of horrible outcomes flashed before her eyes. Continue reading “And then this happens”
